Car 2043 was replaced in 2014 with a 20125 Chevrolet Tahoe and redesignated Car 2042

R-44
1994 Gowans Knight Rescue (1994-2013)

R-44 was replaced in 2013 by a new Gowans Knight Custom Rescue, featuring a 6 man Spartan Gladiator cab and chassis and a stainless steel body.

 


E-211
1977 Seagrave Pumper (1977-2005)

E-211 was replaced by E-109, a 2005 Seagrave Class A pumper.  It was acquired by the Guayaquil Ecuador Fire Department in late 2005 and returned to service.  The photo shows E-211 at the Staten Island Container Port with FDNY Battalion Chief Dan Sheridan and BFD Asst. Chief Pete Lazaro, who arranged the donation.

1995 Horton Type III Ambulance (1995-2005)

Our second ambulance, replaced in 2005 by a PL Custom Type III ambulance.

 


E-108
1968 Maxim Source Pumper (1968-2000)

BFD's retired 1968 Maxim 1250 GPM Pumper. This pumper was retired from active service in the summer of 2001 then recalled to active service in the aftermath of 9-11 to free up a newer engine to respond to the Bronx. Our pride pumper was donated in November 2001 to the FASNY Museum. This photo was taken in 2006 at the museum.

 

1962 Mack
The 1962 Mack was in service from 1962 to 1988.

 

 

1934 Mack
The 1934 Mack was in service for the Bedford Fire Department from 1934 to 1956.

 

1956 Cadillac Ambulance
The 1956 Cadillac ambulance was in service from 1956 to 1969 for the Bedford Fire Department.

 



1927 Seagrave Suburbanite
The 1927 Seagrave Suburbanite was in service from 1927 to 19__ for the Bedford Fire Department.
