Background Check

The Bedford Fire Department is looking for volunteers to serve as Firefighters, EMTs, and Associate Members.  

Full Active Membership: 18 years of age or older

Associate Membership: 18 years of age or older

Junior Active Membership: ages 16 and 17

Junior Corps Membership: age 15

If you are hard working, ready and willing to learn, and want to give back to your community, you are the right person for us. Firefighting or EMS experience is not required. We will provide the equipment and training. You must be able to pass the firefighter physical examination for any kind of Active Membership.
