On Sunday, June 24, the Bedford Fire Department was dispatched to Interstate 684 Southbound of Exit 4 for a reported MVA with Extrication. Units arrived to find a car with heavy damage that had launched off the highway into the wooded median. The driver was checked for injuries and refused transportation to a hospital at the scene. BFD units provided traffic safety while the tow company removed the car from the woods.
