NOTICE OF SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY – FIRE TRUCK


Bedford Village Fire District, New York will accept offers on the following surplus property:
1987 Seagrave Fire Engine, VIN number 1F9EV28H3H0ST2117
1,250 GPM, Waterous Pump
750 Gallon water tank
8V-92, Detroit Turbo-Diesel engine
Allison automatic transmission
Seating for 5 firefighters

The above engine had served with distinction as the Bedford Village Fire Department’s second due engine until its removal from active service in October 2017. During its very active service this engine was extremely reliable. Maintenance records for this engine will be made available for personal inspection/review at fire headquarters only upon request. Minimum suggested offer is $4,800.00. This engine is being sold AS IS, cash or cashier’s check only.

Questions regarding this engine may be directed to Bedford Village Fire Chief Shawn Carmody at 914-234-3133. Engine may be viewed at Bedford Fire Department at 34 Village Green, Bedford, New York 10506-0230 by appointment only.

Sealed offers will be accepted at Bedford Village Fire District Post Office Box 230, Bedford, New York 10506-0230 and must be received by December 11, 2017. The District is not responsible for lost or delayed mail. Sealed offers may also be delivered in person at our regularly scheduled meeting at 34 Village Green at 7:30 pm, on December 11, 2017. The offers will be opened during the regular meeting of the Bedford Village Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners on that date. The Board may reject any, and all offers.

The engine will need to be removed from the property of the Bedford Village Fire District within ten days of offer acceptance and payment.
